Two More Time Guardian Tales Have Been Contracted!

With all the work I was doing to find something to light a fire under my nephew's musical arse, I forgot to post here that last weekend I received contracts for two more Time Guardian tales, SWORDSONG & NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE. I will be posting the first chapters here. Posting first chapters is something I decided to do because I discovered while wanting to read an excerpt for ebooks I was interested in that some have no excerpts available. A 1st chapter is the best when I'm wanting to test drive a book. So, I chose to share them here on my blog. How to find the 1st chapters:
  1. Look to the left margin here on this page.
  2. You'll see a list of my blog categories.
  3. 1st Chapters is the category that will take you to the listing of my story openings.

Here are the two new stories' cover blurbs:

NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE

A demon stalks Druidess Aron MacKintosh, trying to use her to gain control of the timeline in present-day Scotland. Time plows toward Samhain when the doorways open between the Now and the Happy Otherworld. She finds herself in a strange alliance with an unusual time guardian, Cowboy. The duo struggles to defeat the demon. If Cowboy can’t earn her trust, the timeline and history are up for grabs. Only Cowboy’s charm and southern idea of chivalry has what it takes to leave an ancient evil bound NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE.

SWORDSONG

Murdo McEwen’s stuck in present-day Scotland with a bent time-travel key only Katie McInnis can repair. Duty requires he return to his time. His ticket home relies on a lonely woman haunted by more than apparitions. Her track record with men keeps her at a distance. And ghostly events keep pushing them closer together. Earning her trust will require the kind of patience only a valiant time guardian learns during his twenty years of apprenticeship. If time-travel duty, romance, and a bit of magic don’t help them realize their destiny resonates in mysterious fairy SWORDSONG, all known history could change.
