THE LEGEND OF THE FLUTE~
I typically write about kilts. My Time Guardian story world has expanded to include all sorts of cultures as I realized I could play with all the fascinating things that led me to study anthropology. One of my novels that I'm expecting a contract on any day is FORBIDDEN ETERNITY. The hero is shape-shifting Lakota shaman turned time-travel cadet. (Talk about a mouthful.) A Brule Sioux legend I stumbled upon really helped me soften this hero. I was going to type it out here, giving credit where credit is due. But I found the legend from the same source online. Thank you so much for this link, Skhye. That's a lovely legend. I read the other two as well and I have to say I really loved the sad story of the
Multnomah Falls (well of course I have a 'thing' about waterfalls, anyway!
