Korra Deaver's THE MASTER NUMBERS: A NEW APPROACH TO UNDERSTANDING YOURSELF THROUGH NUMEROLOGY totally shocked me. I was so mystified by what the numbers said about me that this scientist is in awe. THE MASTER NUMBERS is a skinny little book. If you're even remotely curious, pick up a used copy and go out on the limb of investigation. Deaver also looks at consonant values in names. Very very interesting...
One would wonder how a name has anything to do with birth time, date, and place. Well, it is theorized that a person's parents pick up on what the best name for a child is while the baby is in the womb. This is a big lump for me to swallow given cultural relativism. There are quite a variety of cultural ideas on when a child is ensouled including different points along the way for unborn children and then at various times after birth. Anyway, after numerology dissected moi, I'm inclined to buy the theory about the Universe telling parents names! OR (note, that's a big or) we become our names... our names shape us like Mwadibe in Dune!
Yes, there is power in letters and words, if only in a numerological sense. Weird. I understand words are auditory and visual symbols. But some things are really difficult to wrap one's brain around. ~Skhye
