Tarot Decks~
Some Tarot decks I have run across and used in writing my Time Guardian series are:
Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth's THE FAERIES' ORACLE is a gorgeous deck that gave me more than one idea for my story world. HE OF THE FIERY SWORD is a card name that was perfect for the title of my 1st novel! I love how MacBeth had me "get to know" the deck and inadvertantly telling me about the real me. Yes, real. If you do nothing but "get to know" the deck, you will be stunned. The cards I chose were dead on ME.
Lucy Cavendish's THE ORACLE TAROT deck is awesome. Each card has one word on the front--what the card truly represents. And the accompanying book tells you everything else! I love Cavendish's artwork as well. These cards don't come off mysterious.
Have fun playing with Tarot decks. You never know what you will learn about yourself. Those shocking experiences always make me want to expand the categories of science! ~The Scientist
